About these terms

Rob & Sue - Party of 2 is operated by Avtext Pty Ltd trading as Sue White Photography (ABN 88 116 839 037). In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to that business.

These terms apply to your use of this website, including The Journal, At the table and our photography, video and collaboration information. They do not replace a separately agreed contract for paid work.

Using the website

You may browse the website, share links to our stories and use the information for your own personal planning. Please use the website lawfully and respect the rights of others.

Do not interfere with the website’s operation, attempt unauthorised access, introduce harmful code, impersonate another person or use our content in a misleading way. These restrictions do not prevent lawful accessibility tools, ordinary search-engine indexing or uses permitted by law.

Photographs, films and written content

Unless stated otherwise, the photographs, videos, articles, designs and branding on this website belong to us or are used with the rights holder’s permission.

You may view our content and save or print a copy for personal, non-commercial use. Sharing a link to the original page is welcome. Reproducing, publishing, selling, editing or using our content commercially requires the relevant rights holder’s permission, unless the law allows that use. Please keep any credits or copyright notices intact.

Contact us if you would like to license an image, film or article. Any rights to use commissioned work are set out in the written agreement for that project.

Stories, reviews and practical information

Our stories reflect our experiences and opinions at the time of a visit. Different people may have different experiences. A review or recommendation is not a promise about what a venue, destination or service will provide on your visit.

Prices, menus, opening hours, facilities, access, routes and conditions can change. Check current details directly with the venue or official source before booking or travelling. Confirm allergies, dietary requirements, accessibility and suitability for your group with the relevant provider.

Maps, photographs and suggested outings are general information. Plan for current weather and local conditions, follow official advice and obtain any permissions needed for your activities.

Collaborations and affiliate links

We may work with businesses on paid collaborations, accept hosted experiences or receive products to feature. Where an arrangement relates to a story or recommendation, we identify it alongside that content.

Where a link can earn us a referral commission, we identify it as an affiliate link. Buying through a link is your choice. Any purchase or booking is made with the third-party supplier, under that supplier’s terms.

Photography, video and other services

Sending an enquiry does not confirm a booking or create an obligation to purchase a service. We agree the scope of a project with you before work begins.

For paid work, the accepted quote or written agreement sets out the deliverables, timing, fees, payment arrangements, cancellations, changes, approvals and rights to use the finished work. Please ask us about any point that is unclear before accepting it.

These website terms do not create a cancellation fee, payment obligation or content licence that has not been agreed for your project. Nothing in an agreement removes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Links and third-party services

We link to venues, travel information, social platforms and other websites, and may display third-party maps or media. Those services are operated independently and have their own terms and privacy practices.

A link does not make us the supplier of the linked product or service. We do not control a third party’s website, pricing, availability or performance. This does not limit our responsibility for our own statements or conduct under applicable law.

Privacy and email updates

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information, including enquiries, subscriptions and information associated with the website’s hosting and third-party features.

We send newsletter or promotional emails when you have consented to receive them. You can unsubscribe using the instructions in an email or by contacting us. Sending us an enquiry does not automatically subscribe you to our newsletter.

Your rights and our responsibility

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, remedy or other right that cannot lawfully be excluded, including rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

We take reasonable care with the website, but cannot promise uninterrupted access, that every item of information will remain current, or that a third-party service will always be available. If something appears inaccurate or is not working, please let us know.

Responsibility for any loss is determined under applicable law. These terms do not impose a blanket waiver of liability or require you to indemnify us for our own conduct.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms to reflect changes to the website, our services or the law. The date at the top identifies the latest version. Changes apply to use of the website after they are published; they do not retrospectively alter an existing project agreement.

Applicable law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. The courts of New South Wales have non-exclusive jurisdiction. This does not prevent you from relying on mandatory rights or accessing a court or tribunal available to you under applicable law.

If you have a question, a concern about our content or a complaint, contact us with the relevant page or project details so we can respond.
